update-lots going on-long

Wow it has been 2 weeks since i have posted, i did not even realise it until someone pointed it out. Oops, there usually wont be so long between posts but my best friend was down from out of town for 11 days, we just took her home yesterday. That was a long ride, 870km in a car round trip, 12 hours in total including bathroom breaks and lunch.

I lost my job on the 31st due to my bitch cousin ( i do not want to go into it right now), then on the 2nd we went and picked up Kat first thing in the morning, which hasn't left room for blogging, most of the time spent on the computer was looking up wedding stuff.

With all that is going on with my gram & cousin both being major Bitches with attitude problems (trust me, it's not me in any way other than i stood up for myself finally, bullies can't stand when someone stands up to them and they usually feel very threatened at that point) i think my guest list is going to be cut drastically, they are both putting me down to anyone who will listen at every turn of the bend, hell my own father hasn't contacted me in 4 months (at this point it is a nay for walking me down the isle, you have to make effort and i have, he hasn't) it is his mom who is so psychotic and not very many people actually see that so............

The funny thing with everything is that my fiance is mostly a passive person, he is nice to everyone, doesn't get mad at people often, let's people walk over him as well and he told me about my gram, cousin, friends etc and i wouldn't listen, he had an outsider's point of view but i always gave them more and more chances before i ever said a word, when i finally broke i am the bitch, whatever, karma is a bitch, you can wrap everyone else around your finger but i will completely disown my entire family before i become the scapegoat again. It is almost at that point, and i don't think it will take much for me to never have anything to do with them again, all of them (i forgive to the point i can't, then i am done and nothing you will say will change that). The worst part for me is i gave everyone everything, supported weddings, socials, anything and everything, spent a lot of money and i am gonna get shit on? No thank you.

On to the positive things, wedding stuff!!!!!!!! With my best friend down we made plans to go to the city for shopping, then a bridesmaid popped up that she wanted to go, so it was decided we would go twice, one day just wr stuff. I had no intentions of buying my dress until October when my mom is down but we went to a bridal salon just to check it out in person, well they had already sold the sample of the dress i wanted but had another similar one that we had said no to online because it had a zip up back, being bigger and maybe losing/gaining weight (it fluxuates a bit) i thought i needed a lace up back. WRONG, the dress fit perfect, if i wanted that color i could have bought the sample and had no alterations. I left the shop, talked to my mom, went back the next day and bought it, will phone in a month and make sure they ordered it. The new one won't fit as perfect but will make it so, it is gorgeous. Email me austinsmomca@gmail.com if you want me to link you to the dress online.

I also decided on a scrapbook instead of a guestbook but i do not want it to look like a photo album so it will be done as a binder to look like a scrapbook, with little cards for well wishes that will be put in the book. I also ordered a frame i have been looking for but couldn't find (somehow kat could) for our sand ceremony, now i just have to figure out how to get the sand in there without getting in the way of our picture. It will be awesome though, i can't wait :)

I think that is it for right now, i am sure there is more but it can wait lol

  1. Hey, Sweet. That's great that you had a nice long visit with your BF. Sorry about your job but, if you don't mind me saying, you don't seem too broken up about it, so maybe it was a good thing??
Very exciting about your dress! And the idea of a scrapbook vs. guestbook is neat. I never look at my guestbook.

Good to hear from you! mum

  3. Hi mum, no i am not broken up about it, blessing in disguise, i have not liked it for a while now and while it was nice to have the money, i don't see a point in staying miserable.

I am so happy about my dress :)

I want to have a scrapbook because most people say they never look at the guestbook and it is more than just a signature, i can display it and people will actually want to read it.

A sand ceremony is like a candle ceremony, it's pouring different colored sands into a big vase (usually) to symbolize the blending of families (usually more when step kids are involved) or symbolizing the joining of unions.

  4. Hey there!! Sorry to hear about your job. I'm sure it came at a bad time, but it seems you are happy about it so hopefully you can find something you love to do now. :)

I really like the idea of a scrapbook instead of a guestbook. Though I've never made 1, it sounds fun. I'd love to see how it comes out.

Never again will i work with family, we got along great before this. I will probably post pictures of everything when it is all said and done, i have a crappy camera.
