Happy Canada Day & Fourth of July (belated)

Howdy!

I haven't had anything to blog about lately so nothing going. I went to a wedding on the 4th of July that was American/Canadian which was neat. Our traditions vary greatly ( i tend to like the true etiquette a bit more that seems to be how things are in America even though i missed the boat on one item for my wedding that i regret) and it was very cool to see them mixed together. The bride is very detail oriented like me so i was able to help her a bit with some of the Canadian stuff if she didn't understand it. They pulled it off very well and it was a great day. I felt bad though. She paid for fireworks but there was a nasty storm throughout the whole province and could not get them :(.

One of the things i loved was the Bridal Portrait. That isn't something that is done in Canada but i had heard of it. This lady is a true princess and wanted to be queen for the day. Everyone stopped to comment on how gorgeous the picture was. She is one of the sweetest people i have met and that made my heart swell. 

I can't believe how fast time is going this summer. It has been a very busy time for me and most of my events are over already. How has that happened?

My cousins social, our trip to Edmonton for a friends wedding, my cousins shower/bachelorette, and friends wedding are already done. All that is left is my cousins wedding, the big festival i am part of and then in September is my birthday.

We also have 2 concerts coming up. I held the secret for 3 months but i couldn't hold it no longer (husband needs to get the time off) so i told my husband 2 days ago that i got us tickets for AC/DC in September. He almost cried, right in walmart. I didn't expect him to get emotional like that. It was pretty cool.

The other concert is Paul Brandt/Dean Brody in October and i won tickets through a radio station in the city. Not sure if either have played in the states as sometimes it is hard for Canadian Artists to breakout their as there are so many good artists out there already so many may not know who they are.

That is pretty much it. My sister wants me to go to the reunion with her but not sure if i am up for being fake. I have heard a few things lately which have made me pretty upset so not sure how that would go.
