Howdy Folks!
I hope everyone had a great Christmas. Mine started off a bit rough. I woke up along Christmas morning for the first time ever. I also didn't have a tree or stocking for the first time in my life. I did not do a single bit of decorating since i am moving in 2 months. I could have spent the morning with my bf in the city but I still have my dog for now and wasn't leaving him alone.
This year was the year of thoughtful gifts. My mom made us all a small album with our baby pictures. I loved it. My one gf has a few different "groups" of friends. In our group there is 3 of us. She did a small thoughtful gift for us that is super sweet. That is how she is. My bf whom I have been with for 12 weeks (but a week shy of 3 months) now did something super sweet & thoughtful too. I didn't put it together until he explained it to me but I really appreciate thoughtfulness. My ex didn't do anything romantic and won't do me any favors even though i still do a lot for him so its really a nice change. I then went and spent the afternoon with my gf, picked up the bf and had a nice meal. I brought him back to my house and spent a couple days holed up in a blizzard/major snowstorm. We got 3/4 of our winter snow fall in one night.
Tomorrow is NYE and i am going out with my bf. I am super uncomfortable when I do not have control over situations so I am not going to drink much. We are doing what he wants to do so I will just go with the flow.
Health..........my health. I went and did a pre op for my sinuses and got my report from my surgery finally. There was a mass, a hard mass that they removed. It doesn't say what the mass is. That bothers me though. Also, i found out they took the terminal ileum out. I was told they did not take the ileum out. I have done a series of tests, the specialist is getting my whole history and I go back in February.
It has been a horrible week. I had no heat, no hot water and today we found the back part of house flooded and 3 feet of water in that basement. I then got C/O in my house. Ya, fun fun. I am off week though so that is good.
I think that is it for now. I could update on a lot more but since i haven't been here much it seems kind of pointless. If i can get back a bit more often then i will update more on the every day stuff.
