Today we took bear for his first needle. He was so good, but he was scared for a long time to go. He did NOT like the scale, he gained 2 pounds in 6 days though. He was a champ for the needle, it never bothered him. We bought him some new toys, he loves the boomerang, not so much the kong. He did NOT like peanut butter as the vet said to put in the kong.
I am working alot in a row, only off friday until tuesday. All my shifts are pretty much in a row for this pay period. It is good in one sense, sucks in another.
Next pay period i only have 4 shifts, in my email where she told me to apply for the job it said 3-4 shifts, that doesn't even come close to 6 shifts, nor being able to pay my bills. I sent her an email asking for more, will see how that goes lol.
Other than that, not much goin on right now, life is pretty boring other than wedding planning.
Tomorrow we get to thouroughly wash the floors as bear is getting more potty trained, they are gross, sounds like fun doesn't it? You know you want to be the one to come do them, i have a steam mop so it is not so bad lol.
Glad he did well with his shots. I'm surprised he didn't like the PB, I haven't met a dog yet that didn't like it lol.
ReplyDeleteMy dogs are weird though. Ari (the small 1 @ 62lbs) prefers veggies, pb, yogurt and fruit instead of meat and potatoes. Whereas Diego (the chunker @ 75+ lbs) will eat pretty much everything except fish and tomatoes. We had to stop giving Diego ANY kind of meat b/c it makes him pissy (aka aggressive). So I guess both of my dogs are vegetarians now lol Good thing too cus they're not even 1 yr yet and are getting SOOOO big. I miss the days when they are still tiny like Bear is.
Ya he doesn't like it, or the kong very much. We will not feed him people food at all but we are giving him plain yogurt with extra probiotics in it because it is good for their bones/teeth, other than that i do not want him to be a beggar. He has not tried that yet but he goes nuts when he smells me cooking lol.
