Christmas

I have a draft post of a pretty controversial subject that you won't want to miss coming up, it is raw, not polished, which is how i want it.

First though i thought i would recap christmas, may add pics in a few days because i am at work right now, tomorrow is fiances family christmas & thursday is our day to watch prison break. We have 2 seasons to go through asap so that i can watch One tree hill Season 8. Fiance got house season 7 but there is no way he thinks he will get that before i get my one tree hill that i have been waiting for since August, this is the first time i have not seen an episode.

Christmas eve eve we had showers, got our pjs on, had a drink & all watched a christmas movie together, it was perfect. We did christmas on christmas eve for various reasons this year. We got up about 8, my son had been in our room twice already, usually we have to wake him up. I have ALWAYS been the one up early on christmas, ever since i was a kid, at 5:30, sometimes earlier. I think there is something wrong with me, either i sleep more than 12 hours or less than 5, i am sooooo tired all the time.

My son got his game he wanted, movies,  pjs, candy, his ipod etc. He did not have much because all that was expensive, i miss the days of him being young where he had 20 presents for same amount of money.

We got the new waffle maker from my mom plus chocolates etc in our stockings. We also got our new sectional as our christmas present.

He got flavored hot chocolates, a manual/automatic screwdriver & bit set, house, winnipeg jets sweater & odds n ends.

I got a jets sweater, polar bear earrings & necklace right from churchill where my dad has been working. Bath sets, make up brushes that i asked for, neck massager, foot scrubs.

Then we had his brother & his family over for supper plus my dad, brother & stepmom. A total of 9 extra people, i did not realise we had 12 extra in our house because with the sectional it does not feel as many people. It was nice, then my son got to go on a hayride through the island of lights with my fiances nieces who were down from alberta. We went over to his brothers for "drinks" but i was driving so i stayed sober, it is just not worth it to me. We only live 4 blocks away but i am not comfortable walking in the dark.

Christmas day i slept in till......................12:30. The boys had given up on me makign waffles & ate. I had no clock in the room, my phone was charging downstairs & they were quiet so i had no idea how late it was, i would have never slept that long otherwise.

We had waffles late, watched another christmas movie then i took my son to my aunts for christmas dinner with my family but i just dropped him off. We then watched prison break, had supper & he went to bed, i stayed up real late to sleep in because i worked nights boxing day.

Boxing day i opted once again to skip my big family christmas for various reasons. I slept till 4, then i went shopping, i will leave that post for another day, to post pics with it.
