randoms again

I just went through some posts & made labels to make it easier if anyone ever wants to go back to posts, as well as for wedding recaps when that time comes.

I think my last boss passed away yesterday, i am not 100% sure but my cousin posted her boss passed away so i am assuming it is him & not one of the other "bosses". I am sad, i bet it was from a heart attack, i would not be surprised, i told him in the spring he would have a heart attack. Very nice man but he lets others take advantage of him easy, yells & fights with the other people (his dad, his brothers & his son) over the company & takes on a lot of stress, so i could see it coming. He wasn't that old either, his children are younger than me by a bit, he was in his 50's.

I did my first night shift & like i suspect, i did not like being up all night, i was screwed up for a few days before, especially having a day shift in there, it caught up to me last night. I fell asleep watching prison break @ 8:30pm, went to bed @ 10, woke up @ noon today, yes you read that right, 12 PM!!!!!!!!!!! To be fair though i was awake a for a couple hours in the night.

Can you believe it is only 9 days until Christmas, how trippy is that??? We do not have a lot of snow here (normally we would have a ton by now) nor is it very cold, we have had 2 really cold days so far (not complaining, usually we are frozen now). I am hoping it doesn't catch up to us in January, that is the coldest month, February is still cold but more like December, march is when things start to thaw, so we only have 3 more months before we can look to the weather changing lol.

The trippy thing about that is once spring hits there is not a lot of time left before the wedding. We bought our gifts to each other yesterday, too good of a deal to pass up. We both needed a good watch, we have been having the walmart special, which tends to discolour fast. We went to the jewelry store to take my chain in (i love it but if it breaks one more time we are buying a new one). While there we seen a display for watches, granted these were steel & not gold like i was looking at, but the watches we previously looked at started at 300$ & only went up of course. This pre-christmas sale had them on for 1 for $75 or 2 for $100, they had men's on 1 side & woman's on the other side, matching what the men's ones were. I could not pass up that deal even though we could not afford it right now, they originally were $260 for the pair.

I got the shifts changed at work so that i do not go over hours this week for ei, so now i work Saturday night (instead of days today) & i work days Tuesday, which is OK, it is the staff Christmas party so i get paid to eat & have fun lol.
