My computer was only 3 years old but the motherboard went :( so that means it is not worth the upgrade. I was so psyched to have some money for our anniversary trip & now i have to buy an external hard drive, so they can transfer my hard drive to a new one (in case my hard drive wants to go kaput too). I was so worried on losing my hundreds of wedding bookmarks. I am going to imput them into g's computer so that i have it in both places plus i will be using them from this laptop. I haven't mentioned this but i hate laptops, they are so small & awkward, i had a 19 inch screen to go down to a 15 inch screen is a hit, the keyboard is so tiny compared to a normal one lol. he has a mouse though, if he didn't i woulda bought one, i can't use a laptop mouse to save my life.
I can't wait for our trip, we will be doing a teenie bit of shopping, i want to go to the mall, i promised my son he could take his birthday money there, we need to got to costco & return some cups & pick up a few snacks & i want to go to futureshop. I would like us to get the boy an ipod touch that we could use as well when he is at his grandma's. He is 13 years old now & at some point we have to trust him with stuff like that, there are not a lot of options when it comes to gifts for teenage boys.
I want a kobo e-reader to fuel my reading addiction (also cause i can take it anywhere & it is small). I do not know what to get the hubs though, he has not given me 1 single idea. We are on a budget & it is quite small because i do not have a job & we are planning a wedding so i am limited.
That is my news right now, the things that pissed me off will have to be another post, i do not feel like writing about it before bed, bad enough i think about it all night every single time i wake up.
I re-activated facebook because my auntie thought i deleted & blocked her & she was the 2nd person who thought so, then i got on the hitlist so i have to keep it but i blocked my family from seeing my statuses & updates, any of the ones that constantly piss me off on there, this way they don't see what i say & i can't bother with them. I also have not really made any of my statuses personal since i been back, mainly just playing games, eventually i will be back there as normal but not yet.

Ouch! That sucks about your comp. It's funny that you say you can't stand laptops. I've been using 1 as my only comp for awhile now and now desktops feel weird to me.

ReplyDeleteMaybe with black friday coming up you can find a cheap tower. I know this probably sounds like a really stupid ignorant question but I'll ask anyway. Do you guys do black friday there? If not, I wonder if you could still shop online at 1 of our stores in the states and get the same deals? I know I've seen super cheap deals on comps down here for black friday, which is next week but also cyber monday might work for you too. That's the monday after our Thanksgiving.
Anyway, if you'd like some links to black friday or cyber monday deals from here, let me know. :)
We don't do black friday but we have boxing day which is the day after christmas. While i would love a new tower right now without a job that is not practical, my ei runs our in january.
